GLOSSI

GLOSSI is a research project investigating the role of skin glycosylation patterns on salamander resistance to the deadly chytridiomycosis disease. Led by  Prof. An Martel at the University of Ghent (Belgium) and funded by the European Research Council, this project combines laboratory and field trials to identify novel strategies for curbing disease-driven loss of biodiversity.
